Occupational Health Sales Representative
Primary Objective: Generate revenues through the sale and promotion of occupational healthcare services to employers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Cover a designated territory to obtain occupational services revenue via direct sales to companies through on-line initiatives, social media, arranged client calls with employers. • Develop strong relationships with local and state departments. • Together with admin support staff and market consultants the candidate will develop annual market plans to address branding strategy and growth initiatives. • Schedule and conduct tours of the clinic with existing and potential clients to facilitate an employer / provider relationship. • Understand requirements, standards, protocols, and processes for the range of committed services including substance abuse testing, compliance, work physicals, and worker’s compensation injury care. • Research and qualify the employment base in the trade area, identifying prospects in industries with high propensity to utilize occupational medical services. • Track leads, establish a sales pipeline, and schedule status checks with accounts. • Assist in resolving specific employer issues, for account management and retention purposes. • Act as a liaison between the employers and clinical staff to ensure proper internal rollout.
Qualifications:
• Strong communication, customer service. Interpersonal and organizational skills with detail orientation. • Knowledge of workplace substance abuse and injury prevention/ treatment practices. • Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office products. • Able to tailor marketing approaches to a diverse target market. • People-person, pleasant personality, persuasive; possesses excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills and motivated by accomplishments. • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
• Associates degree or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred) • Minimum two (2) years business-to-business sales experience • Coordinating and delivering occupation medicine services) • A valid state driver’s license, satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation
Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Qualifications for the Physician Assistant: • Experience in Urgent Care Setting. • Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program. • Current license in the State of Connecticut • Experience with computers, printers, telephones, fax machines, photocopiers and stethoscope medical equipment needed to perform medical duties.
Responsibilities for the Physician Assistant: • Completes health/medical history and performs physical assessment on patients in accordance with the presenting chief complaint and established protocol. • Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic intervention. • Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients in accordance with practice protocol. • Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures as warranted in accordance with the established protocol. • Synthesizes data to determine preliminary assessment and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention and health promotion. • Administers treatments, medical intervention and injections in accordance with established protocols. • Educates and advises patients or significant others regarding health and illness prevention including referral to community resources to meet patient and family needs. • Instructs patients and family, regarding their plan of treatment and expected outcomes as well as follow-up appointments as indicated by the patient's condition. • Ensure that documentation is comprehensive and written in the established format of the practice. • Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested. • Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations. • Performs other duties as assigned.
